Now that it’s Sum-Sum-SUMMERTIME,
What am I going to do???
Sometimes the “good old days of summer” aren’t so good –
especially if you are living with a child with autism.
Routines and schedules have changed – or even disappeared.
Support from school staff might not be available anymore.
Parents no longer have the “respite” of school.
There may be new activities for some family members.
Siblings are getting on each other’s nerves.
Vacation?  Are you kidding???
If this sounds familiar, come join us for a free workshop at…
Eighty-eight Broadway
(Lincoln Square Shopping Center, Urbana)
Wednesday, June 30th
2:00 – 6:00 pm
(Check-in:  2:00 – 2:30 pm  *  Workshop: 2:30 – 5:00 pm  *  Reception:  5:00 – 6:00 pm )

Our workshop features Ann Osterling , MA, CCC-SLP/L
Ann is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with a private practice in Champaign.  She is co-facilitator for the sibling group for CUAN, and sits on the TAP Advisory Board.  She has worked with children with autism, their siblings and their families for more than 30 years.  Ann will share ideas on proven strategies to help you, your child with autism, and your family have a smoother summer.  In addition, she will be asking families to share their concerns and challenges to try to personalize this presentation for participants.  You’ll leave with ideas and strategies you can use to help you survive this summer.
…and when the workshop is finished, stay for a reception
with finger food and soft drinks for a wonderful networking opportunity!  A cash bar is available through Fluid Events.
TO REGISTER:    Email:  info@cuautismnetwork.org   or   Call:  217-621-8429
